Phathom has posted a new "Sense Heading" for today about upcoming months in EQ

Hello fellow Norrathians,

Welcome to the new Sense Heading forums! It's our goal to have a much more open approach to the development of our games. Part of that open approach is being more communicative and letting players know what's coming up for EverQuest.

In this forum, a select few people and I will be posting what we're working on, so players know what to expect in the upcoming months. It will be updated regularly and there may be some special posts added here for certain projects. For example, the new AA and Spells we launched could be a discussion topic here. Everything you're reading here is "time approximate." We're aiming at the timelines, but it may take longer to get some things done.

So without further delay, here is what is coming to EverQuest in the next few months:

June
-Living Legacy Raids kicked off at the beginning of the month with different raids starting each week.
-Call of the Forsaken - Spells and AAs - New Spells and AAs are now available to all players that have purchased the Call of the Forsaken Expansion. Visit the vendors at the guard camp in Ethernere-Tainted West Karana to find new spells.
-Hardcore Heritage events will launch starting at the end of the month. This will be classic zones like Blackburrow and Cazic Thule, withthe mobs elevated in levels so that you can reminisce by adventuring in the zones with your current higher level character you play with today.
-Tower of Rot Raid - We had some issues with "lag" in this raid and we have been working to resolve it. We believe we have tracked this down to how the zone was created, and some objects in the zone were causing your computer to render too much at one time.
-For the Marketplace, I hope you have heard the latest Player Studio news that players from some countries outside the US can now join in and create items for EverQuest as well as our other games at SOE. If you think you have a creative side and you know what players would like, please give it a try.
Big Bags - We are bringing Big Bags back towards the middle of the month and they will last until the first part of July. We did something different this time on the bags, though. We read in some of your feedback that you would like certain colored bags for certain types of items which helps you keep track of your treasure much better. So we will be offering bags of different colors to see how it goes. Let us know if this works well for you or not, and/or if you have another idea. Oh, and we did think about you being able to change the colors of your "current" bags, but unfortunately that isn't possible for us to do easily right now.

July
-Hardcore Heritage - We will continue to unlock additional Hardcore Heritage zones in July and we plan to do this every couple of weeks.
-Calling all Call of the Forsaken players! In July, we will be releasing a new zone called Argin Hiz. There will be some launch content that releases a week or two before the zone is released to prepare you on your new adventures when Argin Hiz is released.
-Towards the end of July, we will be releasing the SOE Live event so that you can play through this content if you never have before and it also gives SOE Live attendees some time to practice their skills for the Tournament challenge in Las Vegas in August.

August
-August is about preparing for SOE Live and the new releases we will unveil to you for the first time in Las Vegas. If you haven't signed up yet or are on the fence about going, ask your guildmates and friends for a list of people going to connect with while you are there. SOE Live and Vegas are always better with your friends to create great memories (which will probably be used to blackmail you later on). Better have some extra Station Cash Cards to bribe them with later.
-More details to follow as we get closer to July and August.

Additional Information
-All Access - If you haven't read the latest news about our streamlined Membership for All Access, please check out our website to learn about all the great perks you get by being an All Access Member. Most importantly, All Access Members have a lower price point for all participating games, which means if you sign up for a membership with EverQuest, you will have membership benefits in EverQuest, EverQuest II, PlanetSide 2, DC Universe Online PC, Vanguard and the upcoming games EverQuest Next, Landmark, and the recently announced game, H1Z1!

That is just a part of what we have planned, so keep a look out for more information each month.

Thank you all and hope to see you this year at SOE Live!
