Tonight was the first night of SOE Live! During the keynote address, we were told about some exciting new features coming to EverQuest. We were also told the Rain of Fear official launch date is November 28th, 2012!
Twitch TV Integration: This will allow us to stream our gaming session to Twitch TV effortlessly.
Krono: This is an in game item that is purchasable from SOE (unsure of whether by Station Cash, or real currency). Clicking this item in game grants your account 30 days of subscription time. This will allow you to buy and sell game time in game using plat.
Player Studio: The submission page for Player Studio will launch on October 19th, 2012. He mentioned that some of the submissions they have already seen are better than what they are capable of making! Smedley said players will get 40% of the earnings from their items, and they get to keep the Intellectual Property of the item.
Other notes: Smedley said since EverQuest went Free to Play, daily log ins are up 150%.
Other game news: Wizardry Online Beta starts on October 29th. Planetside 2 launches November 20th. EverQuest Next - All the work they had previously done has been scrapped. They are starting over on this game, as they were not happy with what they had.
