November 25, 2011 - Updates
Sepulcher Quest pages are now up with all the info we have (it's not 100% completed, but it should be the closest to 100% out of any other site), sorry for the delay, the maps aren't done... yet. They will be being completed and uploaded as they are done, but for now the Quest steps and notes should hopefully be helpful, sorry again for the delay!
Many Quest pages and Named pages and Loot items have been updated as well, with proper links to their loot/abilities, as well as more accurate steps/info, and a few other things.
November 19, 2011 - Updates
Updated the Alaran Language page to reflect the tasks in Lunanyn that give Alaran skill. Please note, a few are still broken and do not give the skill increases. I have also started fixing item links across the site, as some items are making their way to lucy.

*** Emergency Patch ***
- Corrected a problem that could cause NPCs to respawn more slowly than intended in zones with heavy server load.
- Corrected a problem causing the potion belt to be unusable by players who do not own Veil of Alaris.
- Corrected an issue that was causing increased zoning time for players in large guilds.
- Corrected an issue that was causing players to be unable to remove lore items from their shroud bank.
- Merchants in the neighborhood zones will no longer sell you guildhall items you can not use if you do not own Veil of Alaris.
- All VoA raids - Corrected a problem that was only giving raid progression rewards to 53 people rather than the full 54.
- Cleric - Fixed a problem that was causing most rank 1 spells to have the wrong requirements. There should be many more spells available to purchase with lower requirements now.
- Newly-Researchable spells from Seeds of Destruction can now stack to 20.
*** Previously Updated ***
- Corrected a problem that prevented players from getting enough Alaran language skill to progress past Sarith, City of Tides. New language requirements are as follows:
--- Argath and Valley of Lunanyn missions require 10 Alaran language skill.
--- All Sarith tasks and missions require 70 language skill (quests that take place in Rubak have Rubak requirements).
--- Beast Domain, Rubak Oseka, and Resplendent Temple tasks and missions require 73 language skill (instead of 75).
--- City of Bronze, Pillars of Alra, and Windsong Sanctuary tasks and missions require 81 language skill.
--- Sepulcher of Order tasks and missions (all 3 zones) require 88 language skill.

November 15, 2011 - Veil of Alaris is live!
Servers are up! Veil of Alaris is now live! Hope you stocked up on energy drinks and Doritos, it's time to begin the level grind!
November 14, 2011 - Almost There!
Well, here we are, the day before Veil of Alaris launches! Today, we released part of our T4 information guide. All our named and loot information is there, but we are still working on putting together the T4 quest walkthroughs. We hope to have those done very soon! We also released our Gear overview pages for both Group and Raid gear, and our Augs overview page.
We would like to give thanks to the following people for helping us out along the way. You guys helped us out tremendously in putting together our VoA guide. Thanks!
In no particular order -
- Rathe.Vlada - Thanks for spending hours testing the site / pages for us!
- Bertox.Caudyr - Thanks for the amazing maps!
- Luclin.Kilzadi - Thanks for testing Pre-Launch walkthroughs, and for the cool surnames!
- Rathe.Kread - Thanks for the moral support bro!
And thanks to the following for help with running quests, supplying information, etc.
And thanks to anyone who we may have forgotten to mention (sorry)!
Update: Pillars of Alra quests are completed, and we have posted our map pack! Be sure to download and install your Veil of Alaris maps to be ready for launch!
November 13, 2011 - Rubak Oseka Released.
We just released our guide for the final Tier 3 zone, Respldendent Temple. Be sure to check out this colorful and unique zone!
November 12, 2011 - Beasts' Domain Released.
Today we released our information guide for the second Tier 3 zone, Beasts' Domain. Be sure to check it out!
Friendly reminder: If you haven't done so already, you should definately pick up An Ancient Text while you still can! This item will grant you a +5 skill to the Alaran language on VoA launch day. A bunch of spells and AA's require you to have a certain skill in this language before you can purchase them, so a headstart is very helpful! This item is obtainable as a chest reward in the Engine Trouble group mission.
November 11, 2011 - Pre-Launch Stage 9 is Active!
And here we are, on the final Stage of the creation of this wonderful Blimp. The blimp is nearly done, the Gnomes just need your help on the final step - Decorating it! In just a few more days, the blimp will be ready to take all of us to the new continent of Alaris! If you haven't gotten the chance to see it yet, we made a video of the blimp ride to Argath, which can be found Here.
In other EQResource news, we now have search plugins available for Internet Explore and Firefox users! Install these plugins and you can quickly search EQResource for any information you are looking for! These can be found Here.
November 10, 2011 - Rubak Oseka Released.
Today we released our information guide for the first Tier 3 zone, Rubak Oseka. Be sure to check it out!
November 9, 2011 - Beta fun, various screen shots.
We know many of you are very excited about the upcoming Veil of Alaris expansion, and are enjoying the screen shots and videos that are surfacing since the NDA lift yesterday. We have compiled a small collection of screen shots we captured while playing on the Beta server, and posted them for you all to enjoy. They can be found Here. Hope you enjoy these images!
November 8, 2011 - NDA has been lifted!
NDA has been lifted, and we have released Tier 1 and Tier 2 of our VoA guide! You can find this guide by clicking the "Veil of Alaris" link in the menu to the left. We will be releasing the rest of the guide piece by piece, and will have the full guide up and ready before VoA is launched! Head over to the Veil of Alaris Overview page for some good need to know information, and check out the youtube videos we have put together.
We have also posted some tradeskill information in the Forums, so be sure to check those out too. While browsing the forums, be sure to tell us how we are doing, and let us know if theres anything else youd like to see on the site!
Please note: The information we gathered came from Beta, so some things may have changed a bit, especially named spells and abilities. We will try our best to get these corrected and updated as soon as possible.
November 8, 2011 - A bit of friendly advice
Just wanted to remind everyone, if you haven't gotten your An Ancient Text yet, I would -highly- reccomend getting it before VoA launches! Trust me, you will regret it if you don't! This item can still be obtained via the Pre-Launch group mission, Engine Trouble.
November 7, 2011 - Pre-Launch Stage 8 is Active!
Time for the Guidance Systems. We certainly need to help the Gnomes with this one, otherwise who knows where the blimp would end up taking us, likely wouldn't be Alaris! We hit a snag on this stage, one of the tasks (Guidance Systems - Wheel) was not completable on the Beta server, so we don't have a walkthrough for it up front. We will begin making one the moment the quest is live, however!
Update: We have finished the walkthough for Guidance Systems - Wheel. Please Note: This task is currently very buggy, but is able to be completed.
Update 2: I fixed the incorrect information for the Front Fin Pre-Launch task, apparently my files got mixed up. Sorry about this!
November 2nd, 2011 - Pre-Launch Stage 7 is Active!
With your help, we are now able to see that a lot of progress has been made on the creation of this Blimp! With the Gondola Hull completed, the Steamfont Gnomes now require your assistance with preparing the engine. Stage 7 brings us 3 fairly easy solo tasks, but most importantly it brings us the Group Mission. The mission gives 5 work vouchers per person, and a chest reward (chest reward was Ancient Text when I ran the mission, please contact us if you find something else in the chest!).
On a side note, I wanted to thank all of you for making this website a success. We have put in many many hours into building this website, and have put in many many more hours over the past couple months grinding on the Beta server to build our Veil of Alaris guide. After reviewing our server usage from our host last month, I must say we were shocked at the amount of resources our site has used, due to high traffic. We did not expect to become so popular, especially so fast (thanks!). We promise we will never hold back information until we "reach a certain amount of donations", or tell you that we cannot gather more information unless you donate to pay our accounts, but we do ask that if you can help chip in on our hosting bill, it would be very much appreciated. If you can afford a few bucks, simply click the "donate" button on the left side of the screen.
We would really like to hear from all of you. If you guys have any questions, comments, suggestions - anything, please do not hesitate to contact us. We truly wish to make this site as informative and useful as possible for all of you, but to do so we need to know what you guys want / need. We have some neat stuff planned, but we would really love to hear first hand what you guys would like to see on our site!
