A few tips for killing this mob, as it is easier than you think it is to kill. I three box on Test, and had a Mage friend come join me. My crew is a 100 Bst/Cleric/Bard with Tank/Cleric/Wizzy J5 mercs.

On to the tips. I noticed Klober mention being nearly killed by an AoE dot. This mob does have an AoE called Corruption, but it is Viral, so stay semi-spread out and only one person will get hit by it. The tricky part about this is, you have to stay somewhat close to the mob otherwise his other ability Desperate Throw does more damage the further away you are from him, so get as close as you can, while staying far enough away that Corruption won't spread to eachother ( >40 yards apart ).

Corruption isn't the killer of this fight though.

It's his Damage Shield called Deadly Mist he puts up every 40 seconds of the fight, which doubles as a HUGE melee reflection AND spell reflection for roughly 18 seconds (3 ticks). So make sure you turn off auto-attacks, stop casting, and put your mercs on passive. You can continue healing, and you can leave your healing mercs on efficient, reactive or balanced, whatever your preference is. If you fail to turn off auto-attacks, or continue to cast spells, or fail to put your mercs on passive, then be prepared to eat 50k AEDD's in a small 30 yard radius for each attack or spell you cast. You won't last long I promise you that. This isn't a burn fight. This is a balance fight. If you use ISBoxer to multibox then controlling your mercs is simple. Otherwise, you will have a very, very tough time taking this named out.

The timer for Deadly Mist doesn't start once the DS drops, it has already started once the DS is put up. So you get a 22 second window of DPS before he'll put the next DS up every time. 18 seconds of DS, 22 seconds of DPS, every time. As I mentioned, it is not a burn fight. You can get in a decent burn in those 22 seconds, but do not space and forget to turn off your attack or you will kill yourself, and likely anyone standing near you within a second.
