With the EQ Anniversary coming up, Roshen has said the Devs will entertain the idea of a Q&A (providing the questions are appropriate). For this we have created a
Question and Answer page. You will need a Forum account on EQ Resource (and to be logged in to it) to be able to Submit and Vote on Questions (feel free to
Register, if you don't have one).
Here you will be able to enter a Question you want Roshen and/or the Devs to potentially answer. The questions submitted will be based on how many are submitted and appropriate. Depending on this number we are aiming for 17 or 34 total (to "match" the 17th anniversary, please note this doesn't mean they will answer extra questions or any questions at all). If the Devs choose to answer them, they will be posted as front page News stuff (probably a handful per day, over a few days).
Once you submit your question it will have to be Admin approved (so we can flag it as approved, inappropriate or a duplicate, etc). Once approved ANYONE will be able to vote yes OR don't care on it (you can vote yes on your own question). There are also no limits to the amount of questions you can ask, but please be reasonable.
At any time you can see
All Approved Questions + Votes. The questions with the most votes will be sent in, in order from most votes to least.
When Voting, a Don't Care (X) doesn't give negative votes, it just doesn't give any at all. A Yes (checkmark) will give the question a +1 vote and potentially move it up the list based on how other questions were voted. Please +1 vote on the questions you want to see the answers to. The Votes are all up to you guys, the players, the most wanted questions will be first in the list.
You can also at anytime see the status of your
Own Questions and see how they were flagged, how many votes, etc.
If you feel something went wrong or a question marked inappropriate and want to know more why please contact Cazic.Rorcex or Cazic.Theriou, we will try to check these a few times a day so be patient. Because of this Voting will end a few days AFTER the Question accepting period. So if you want to Vote as questions come in that is fine, if you want to Vote after the question taking has ended, that is also fine.
Question Accepting will end on Saturday, March 19th at Midnight Pacific time.
Voting will end on Monday, March 21st at Midnight Pacific Time.
Questions will be sent in some time on Monday, March 21st (If Roshen is in office).
Please note, how you vote can not be changed or removed, so vote carefully on the issues you want answered. Questions are also un-editable (if spelling/grammar we can edit some, but we wont edit the questions intent)
