I will be very clear on this - at the step where you zone into an expedition task through Faldern, NO ONE can enter that instance that isn't up to that step EVEN IF they get the task through 1 person. He will not acknowledge the keyword from those people.

Back to the drawing board on several bots that I didn't care about till now ;/

Ran around the side of the zone to avoid critters and when I got to zoneout I got no update. Apparently you have to drag them straight through the middle so they hit the exact spot where the final event happens. Stupid.
