"Step 1: Recover an artifact from each of the first two main excavation sites (The Dead Hills)
Loot an artifact"

For this part, there were 2 crates at the top of the scaffolding and the crates were trapped and locked and only rogue would open. Glad we had one with us but this might be a pita for some if only rogue or bard can do it.

Dps crates down and single mob will spawn by %. Kill add and repeat till crate is destroyed.
Do this twice.

Recover several excavation mining picks 0/5 (The Dead Hills)
Loot mining picks

+48 Marks of Valor, Experience, Coin on Task Completion

Destroy the supports holding up the excavation towers 0/12 (The Dead Hills)
Destroy the supports

+32 Marks of Valor, Experience, Coin on Task Completion

what i did is i used my spell Wuggan's Greater Discombobulation or Reebo's Greater Exorcism to dis arm the trap and then used Reebo's Greater Cleansing or Wuggan's Greater Extrication to pick the lock as i play a necormancer i have access to both the int caster versions and the priest versions of these spells they worked like a charm and i did not have to fight any of the mobs in the area as i did not trigger the trap. got to love spells that people forget about and then the make relevant again since these are spells from the LDoN expansion.
