Seemed like earth pet was rooting him - bard couldnt melee or he would get agro.

Disregard previous post.  It wasnt the earth pet; it even does it for water pet.  This mob just wont agro on pet if anyone else is near.  If bard got in melee distance the name switched to him as if he was rooted, but he wasnt.  Dammit I started this mage so my bard wouldnt have to tank!
