Gerald the Obnoxious is fast, or the zone was slow, and he vanished before I could say "loot" to him. If you have the same problem, he very quickly ends up in the nearby giant fort, where he zips around inside.

Sadaen:
I've gotten him a few times now on povar. My only advice is have whoever is not necessary for dps on denmother be mounted and ready to spam "/say loot" at gerald. I'm a ranger though so whenever I've done it I just peace out around 20% and am ready with the spam and track. Then murder him or otherwise he's snare/rootable if folks need to catch up to help with the kill
