Is there some trick to getting thru all those Drachnids to get to the rear of the caves, or is our group just too wimpy? The seem to repop very very fast ....

If you have someone who can FD or sneak past you can set up in the tunnel east of the room by corpse dragging there to bypass most of the cave, but the room itself you will have to clear

I used an enchanter to mez/blur our way back to the rear of the caves.

Battileur:
Those Drachnid Caves are a nightmare if you don't have a mezzer - see invis, can't snare/root them, can't train them away as they snare you...
