Map Save Button Broken on One Character

Sadly I cannot save map notes on my main character. I can on my other characters. I have tried asking for help but they allow 3rd party maps but do not support them. They tried to help but I have made no progress with this issue. I am hoping someone else has been through this and found a solution. Thanks for your efforts in advance, Tater

Is the other character on the same directory on your computer as your main? If not it might be one character has their maps set to Read Only or something

It also depends what map, if you are using default ones without a subfolder in the map folder, the patcher overwrites a bunch of maps

So...Yes my "Default" folder was read only. Changing that did not fix the problem.
I copied that entire folder, made a subfolder and pasted the maps into that. I then clicked off the read only on the Maps folder and the new subfolder. The problem...a year old, is fixed.
