Our Sponsor and friends over at Timber & Twine have been kind enough to gift us enough EverQuest inspired products to run contests every 2 weeks for the remainder of 2024!

They've asked us to spread the word that at the end of 2024 they will be discontinuing their wooden sign line of products to focus on creating new EQ inspired items.  Starting in 2025 they will no longer offer the Wooden LED Sign products - don't miss your opportunity to get one of these if you've been waiting!  For the remainder of 2024 you can use promo code EQRESOURCE at checkout for 10% off your entire order

EQResource Contest -  Cleric Desktop Light

For this contest we would like to know when you started playing EverQuest!  Have you been around since 1999, or did you just recently start playing?  Did your friend talk you into trying the game in 2004 and you became instantly addicted?  Tell us as much as you would like to!  This is a simple post to win contest, so you can post as much or as little as you'd like.  Your odds of winning remain the same regardless of how much or how little you post - but it's more fun if we get all the details!

The Rules -

- Due to us having to pay for physical shipping of rewards, this contest is only open to folks in the U.S. Sorry!
- Your entry should be a reply to the contest thread.
- Write as much or as little as you like.
- Only one entry per person, per contest.
- At the end of the contest all entries will be numbered and a winner will be chosen at random.
- The contest ends on September 22th at 11:59pm Pacific, and a winner will be announced by September 25th.

The Prize -

(1) Cleric class emblem Acrylic Desktop Light / Night Light.  Note: This item is new, but has a couple scratches on the surface.

This contest is sponsored by Timber & Twine!  Be sure to check out their Etsy shop!

Started in December 1999. Saw a spread about the game in PC Gamer magazine, looked interesting. Went out and bought a voodoo 2 12 mb video card and the game. Started a warrior, got it to level 6 and decided no spells stinks. Made a paladin, and played one ever since.

I started February 1 2001. While hosting a LAN party at my house in college, a friend let me make a little wood elf rogue to try the game. I had previously made fun of him for playing EQ, saying the game was "destroy target life".

Needless to say, 8 hours later I had been up all night running around Greater Faydark killing things!

Guy at work could not stop telling adventures they were having in original EQ back in 1998 or so. I was excited to hear if they made the run from Qeynos, killed more crocs in Oasis, or not. After a couple weeks I bought a copy and yeah, here I am today.

Xeri

Friends of mine were playing when Kunark came out. PoP was just about to drop so we waited for that and purchased that expansion in the big tin box. I played for quite a few years, met my husband in EQ. When we got married we took a break, had a handful of kids, and returned to the game in ToV. We waited for CoV to drop and then purchased that expansion. Way way back in 2004, I sat LFG for a week straight, said forget this, CLERICS never sit LFG! So I rolled a Cleric, went to paludlaualualualualual and never looked back. To this day I do not have alts! Just my evil Cleric, Xeri, on Cazic-Thule from Paineel.
