We are extremely excited to announce our newest feature on EQResource - Spells & Skills Database! With this new feature you can search for spells usable by your class and level, look at spell data for player spells as well as NPC spells, view which of your spells share the same timer, view spell changes over time, and much more! You can access this feature on the Menu from the home page.
Here are some screen shots to help you quickly learn how to take advantage of this useful feature! (click any of them to view a bigger version)
The Spell Search page. Here you can search for spells usable by your class and and level, or you can search for any spell in the game by name. The results will be displayed in an easy to read table. You can then click on which spell you wish to view the full details of:
After you have found the spell you wish to explore on the Spell Search page, click on the spell name to load the Spells Overview page. On this page you will find a bunch of important information related to your spell:
Another feature is the "History" page. This page will let you view all the changes made to a particular spell ever since EQResource has been tracking spell changes (August 21st, 2013). This feature can be accessed from the Spell Overview page (there's a link in the top right section of the page named "History"):
Next on the list is the Timers Search. This page can be used in 2 ways. The first way is from the Spells Overview page. If the spell you are viewing is tied to a timer, there will be 2 links on this page to the Timers page.
You can also access the page by the Menu and perform a search on your class and timer type / number. For example, you could search for all spells that share a Spell timer of 3 for the Paladin class:
Still to come is a Raw Data view. This is a page which shows most all of the pre-parsed data for each spell. We've also got a couple other ideas we hope to implement soon.
Please note that this feature is brand new and is likely to still have a few bugs. We have spent a very large amount of time bringing you this feature, and we would really love to hear from you!
