Linking pets to owners

Now for my SK and mage that I box on this computer, I can link the pets to the owners. Chanter that I box on another computer, he shows up in the Pet drop down and so does his pet, so I can't link them. Any suggestions?

Just replying to answer this question, since others will likely come with the same one.
Have the Pet's owner talk in group chat.  From my experience, Gamparse does not recognize people are being players until they do that.  Otherwise, it thinks they are NPC.  I have seen a group member in the list of pets before.  But once they said something in group chat that was corrected.
