Suddenly, I'm unable to use Fake Link Gen.  I am getting this "unhandled exception" error that the "Input string was not in a correct format."  Is there a fix for this?

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

I'm having the same problem :(

Exact same issue...

/bump
having the same problem, any fix for this?

Yraen:
Issue appears to be in the AchievementsLibrary class when it attempts to split the text in the Resources\Achievements\AchievementCategories.txt file by using a "^" character as the separator.

The last ~30 lines or so in the file start with "^" which is giving the first value in the array an empty value.
For example:

--- Quote ---^1^10^General^General Achievements^A_General^
^2^50^Tradeskill^Tradeskill Achievements^A_Tradeskill^
^3^70^The Hero's Journey^The Hero's Journey^A_HJNY^
^4^80^Slayer^Monster Slaying^A_Hunter^
^5^90^Events^Events^A_Events^
--- End quote ---

You can make it ignore that error by going into the AchievementCategories.txt file and deleting the lines that start with "^". Though that seems to just trigger another error :/

Can bypass that 2nd error by deleting these lines from the bottom of Resources\Faction\FactionWindowCategoryAssociations.txt

--- Quote ---31^1875^
31^1876^
31^1877^
--- End quote ---

I'd definitely back up those files before modifying them, though they should update when you patch again.

My guess is some lines got added to those files since they last worked on the app.

Alternatively, you can create a fake EQ directory somewhere. You'll want to copy the Resources folder (and modify the files above as mentioned), eqhost.txt, dbstr_us.txt, spells_us.txt and your .ini files to that folder. Then select that directory in the Generator. You'll have to copy any modified .ini files back to your normal EQ directory to make them work, of course.
