Releases October 28th for All-Access members, November 11th for Free to Play


Level 105, New Quests, Missions, Items, Spells, AA


Features:
Mount Key-Ring - have all your mounts on it, choose an appearance one + a stat one
Looting Feature - Hybrid of Random Rolling and Master Looter, will be able to teach it, will learn to differentiate between loot that you want and don't want. In the loot window you can flag stuff you want or don't want or something you never want, each new piece of loot will have to be updated this way, when in a group the wanted items are rolled on server side and distributed, unless the group has a master looter. List can begin during Beta to carry to Live.


Some Zones (there are 8 in total all at launch):
Tempest Temple - coral forests, lava, and shipwrecks
Caverns of Endless Song - sirens and the sailors they capture
Thuliasaur Island - dinosaurs and lizard men
Arx Mentis - flying fortress powered by magic, one of EQ's most futuristic looking settings shaped by magic
Combine Dredge - islands connected by magic conduits
Degmar, the Lost Castle - sunken dwarven castle with crazy dwarves


Lore:
Firiona is there trying to heal the emperor of the city, Lanys kidnaps the emperor, running off with him. It's up to you to rescue him and find out what Lanys is up to.



Couple of zones are complete or nearly complete that might be released in monthly or quarterly celebrations post launch.

Hero's Forge Robes will be added to Player Studio, allowing people to customize robes, change their colors, and so on

Will be lots of Water in The Darkened Sea, but not much will be played in Water

8 Zones all at once

Spell Focus AA to be added in the darkened sea, casters will have to buy spell focus lines via AA to enhance certain spells or spell lines, so they aren't as front loaded vs Melee having to gear up for their gains

Beta around the beginning of September, sign ups soon

tempest temple will be the Hub of TDS, karana worshippers, they are trying to create perfect storm to make place better for them shattered volcano

caverns next to temple, Siren boss trying to get its lost love or such

degmar next, combine trying to preserve races, pulled dwarves to the place to protect them dwarves went insane

thuliasaur island next, jurassic park, where the drogmor come from, also lizard men that built temples to Cazic

combine dredge, mining platforms by mana conduits to harvest resources from ocean, lanys took it over

arx mentis the sci fi zone

new cultural to go with level increase

auto granted AA increased to HoT

Mounts will be in a new tab on inventory screen

Q&A

The mount key ring is there a limit?
there is a limit of 128 mounts

mentioned new tradeskills, any new tradeskill augments like shawl?
this is a stretch goal for expansion, depends on their time limit, they hope to get it in for launch (shawl 4.0 hype)

how does mount keyrings work with heirlooms?
mounts will have collectible status, when you put it into keyring, it will automatically flag that char as collecting it, you can then take the heirloom mount out and trade it to all your characters and use it on all toons on acct. If you're a knight you cant take your class mounts out

Will there be any new heros forge armor sets?'
(there are 3 not released) - answer was heck yea, tribal, combine (doesnt mention clockwork)

with additional tradeskill items, are the caps increasing?
probably not to tradeskill skill cap increase, jansan isn't there to answer

2 years ago at soe live, mentioned possibility to work on new race models is that close?
start with robes, see how things go with heros forge models

any details on collectors edition yet?
no announcement yet still work in progress

how is looting gonna work in raids with new system, and no drop stuff?
you can assign master looter, there will be algorithms who has the rights to give loot, who has the rights to assign loot and that

will there be ship to ship combat?
yes, if you're on a ship and there's something there you can fight, volcano in tempest temple destroyed all ships

looking into opening player studio to housing exteriors and guild halls?
still in mix

what is the hub zone and where do druids and wiz port?
from buried sea to tempest temple hub zone, will be guaranteed to be druid and wiz ports

8 zones at launch, what is tier make up?
there are 8 zones, no more coming for the darkened sea though

plans for new progression server?
no plans immediately

epic 3.0s?
no epic 3.0s in near future

raids locked behind keys and flags?
progression of raids is in flux still

how many tiers?
3 tiers for group gear, 2 tiers for raid gear

initial penalty for new spell, and have to get new gear, makes casters weaker already?
new spells will be more powerful then old spell with old focus even tho old focus is degraded, no aa focus for mezes

will there be a clicky port to new zones?
undecided

how hard are the raids, mass emote, or spank and tanks?
75-80% of complexity, Absor looks to be doing most Raids

any improvements to raid tools, like banners for alliances?
gigantic laundry list of things to do, to improve raid window, and entire raid management process, none of them are directly slated for TDS, will get to them as soon as can throughout year

will there be a way to check what mounts out of all possible ones? will there be achievements for getting more?'
probably coming achievement wise, doesn't show what are missing though

is there going to be any plans to balance the crap sustain dps people like casters get focus changes?
casters get huge power increase, melee have to get new stuff to get any power, its just balancing out that with spell focus, class balance always in minds, coming year they will try to balance it even more


is there a plan to restrict progression so dont skip over tiers?
still working on it, want people to do everything

how are hybrids effect by spell focus aa?

I reviewed the broadcast - you forgot that Casters will have AA focuses for specific spells designed to delay a full caster power boost like a melee experiences a delay at launch from not having gear.

Not yet, it will most likely be 40$ like normal
