Shei casts Mark of Vinitras on the tank.

Every so often Shei will emote,
Shei Vinitras shouts, 'Soandso, You are unworthy.'

When this happens, the targeted player gets one of the following debuffs:
Venomous Touch of Vinitras (20 poison counters)
Corrupting Touch of Vinitras (20 corruption counters)

Both debuffs say they transform when cured, but this mechanic wasn't clear to me. I didn't get a new debuff immediately after curing.

There is a 3rd Shei debuff, Rotting Touch of Vinitras. I got it after curing the corruption version. It may be that you won't see a 2nd triggered debuff if you use a cure with multiple counter types (i.e. a poison cure spell has disease counters after, so cures both the Venomous and Rotting debuffs in 1 cast).

"Shei Vinitras shouts, {S}" - Corruption cure the player listed. Will get achievement "Don't cut the strings" plus the player won't die.

Alien looking mobs spawn near other players, so it is best to have players standing on the platform so that the mezzer can see. I know other groups have punted them off the platforms to succeed as well. As for mezz spells, even TOV era mezz spells work on the alien adds. Beam of Slumber, Noctambulate, regular mezz spells, AE mez spells, they all work. For the healing adds, they can be killed, but most groups just ignore them and outdps the healing that they provide.

Recommended having enchanter in the group
