Doesn't seem like the hotfix did much to the shawl series (or it wasn't listed). It seems some combines are bugged though and have to have the tiger hide part left out.

So in the process of trying to inspect all the shawls, I picked the int one instead of the wis one. Is there a way to fix this or am I screwed?

You could try petitioning, might help, otherwise I believe you can delete it get a new shawl 2 and do the final group quest again
