The Outer Brood Launches!


Getting There
To get there you can go through either Nektulos or East Freeport. These will zones you into seperate parts of Hodstock Hills.
The Guild Hall portal takes you to Hodstock Hills where you can buy your Spells and Teleports, the additional Teleport Spells are bought in The Theater of Eternity.
The Teleports take you to Hodstock Hills or The Theater of Eternity.
The Premium item port is to your choice of Aureate Covert or Hodstock Hills.
In order to use the Aureate Covert port or convert to it you must first Attune in the zone, you will see a yellow emote about attuning at the following spot, upstairs:




Maps
There is a Map Pack up so you can grab those.


Features
The Outer Brood has 3 Features.
1) Aureate's Bane - By clearing any zones Mercenary Quests you can get rank 1 of this, otherwise it gains ranks from doing the zones Hunter Achievements.
--A lot of the mobs in the expansion use a Curse of Subjugation, this Bane ability will clear it and give you a 15 Minute Buff that also prevents the debuff for that time.
--Mercenaries can be hit by this debuff as well, but you will want at least 1 Rank to counter
2) Alternate Clicky Key Ring - Generic Clicky Effects now have a key ring they can be put into, saving more inventory space
3) Dark Elf Rangers - Create Dark Elf Rangers on any server with the expansion purchase


Content
The Quick Route into The Harbinger's Cradle in The Theater of Eternity is locked until you do the 2nd Partisan Task, The Bigger the Door, the Larger the Crack. You can still get here, but must take the long way until then.


Items
-There is a new Evolving Ring item this year, Harbinger's Ring of Grudge, that drops from all 4 Missions, The Control Room, The High Priest, The Leviathan's Heart and Brood Architect Hazuri. This Ring can also be bought from the Group Vendor once you have Hodstock Mercenary, Partisan and the 4 Collections done for the zone.
-To go with the new Evolver, there are new Type 18 and 19 Augs that share a lore group with the ToL/NoS ones. The Group ones come from Rares and Missions while the Raid ones are from Raid Trash. Then you must use Tradeskills to create the augs.
-The general gear system is the same as LS


Extra Things
There are 2 extra things you may do in the Expansion with Achievements in the Special category:
1) Article of Destiny - Awards a Suffix Title of "The"
2) Beloved Bro-dent - Awards a Clockwork Rat Metamorph
