For Halls of the Dead, you need to run up towards the queens room at top. Run in and you will be ported. Did this on one toon and the entire room arrgo'd and killed me, but I got update (but did not port to barracks). Ran to barracks and put myself in room. Killed guards and the event reset - no need to drop and redo.
