Title: Issues with loading character inventory files
Post by: Drakah on January 25, 2020, 09:02:42 AM
I set the directory for MCUM to the Everquest location just fine where the data is being exported to.
I have many Inventory.txt files there already from previous exports.
The program did not parse or see these files when launching the program for the 1st time. Hmm...?

I loaded in a character, did the /outputfile inventory
and the MCIM program now saw that file and parsed it accordingly.

So it seems I have to load in each toon again and re-do all of the Inventory.txt exports again, while the program is running? So I did. I now have my toons with the inventory in there & it is auto-monitoring as I hit the outputfile command as I need.

Exit out of the MCIM... just playing EQ for the day, did a /outputfile inventory again before I logout and decided to check on MCIM for inventory.

MCIM did not re-parse the newer inventory.txt file that I logged out with, it is still showing me the data from the last time it auto-monitored. How is it remembering old data? Isnt it supposed to re-load in all the inventory.txt files in the monitored folder location?

Confused. Also, the refresh data option does not seem to actually reload the TXT file at all, so not to sure what that actually does. I thought that option would be for reloading in all the txt files.

Mine behaves the same. EQIR from Fanra seems to work better.
