You can make a Target key - /target a_broken_chest and just run around the ruins finding chests.

Note: the spawn rate is much faster than 30m so you might have to cycle through "corpses" of chests at a particular spot if you want to check everything at that spot.

Also note that 3 roots can be the loot. Be kind to others and loot the roots to get rid of the corpse:)
