 At the first ambush spot "Buzoan" stop and wont move again, wont listen too commands "Stop" "Go" just shows "exit:

Buzoan also bugged for my group at the first Ambush. I /bug reported it but it's still disappointing to get to that stage of a difficult quest and have the script fail.

Killed around 70 mobs, didn't do any of the steps (including giving the sword to Buzoan), got the bonus on the 71st mob. The character that received the helm had died earlier, but didn't zone out.

Thanks, I will drop it to 70+. It seems to possibly be a range

Killed 140 mobs before it appeared.

As of 2024 the bonus isn't broken, but patience is needed.  113 mobs for me, a mix from both sides (if it matters, which I suspect it doesn't). 

Also note that the zone respawns, so attempting to clear a path for the escort doesn't help.

And there's an interesting bug.  After you defeat the boss (Subcommander Gordash) telling Buzoan "go" respawns the boss, even though you've completed the mission.
