Doing this quest in 2024 just myself and my merc.
Everything was fine until the Armies from the Plane of Tactics. I was killing the 6th mob when I saw the 7th one pop out of the spawn point (the stones for POT/Valor,etc.) The fatty ogre immediately turns around, walks through the wall and suddenly spawns right at the PoK zone book, failing the extra reward portion of the mission.
No idea if this is some kind of programming error, or something they put in there to discourage people from doing it solo, but either way it can be a pain for it to happen at the very end of the quest. I recommend allowing the mobs to come to you rather than sitting at their spawn for this purpose.
