Another year, another difficult to judge Housing Contest! Seriously, you guys still amaze me with your creativity, and make it extremely difficult to judge your awesome housing builds!
Thank you for every single entry - every housing build was fantastic and we very much enjoyed visiting them! Tho it was difficult, with the help of fellow judges Riou and Sirenea we were able to narrow it down to the three that excited us the most. And here they are (in no particular order):

Povar.Sofia
Congrats to the winners, and we hope you enjoyed the contest as much as we did! Tip: We WILL be doing our yearly Holiday Housing contest, so start thinking on what type of build you're gonna do!
If you are one of the three winners, please send an in game email to Cazic.Rorcex with your shipping info, and whether you'd like an EQ Hat or a Stuffed Fippy! Please send the email from the character who owned the house you entered, or we won't be able to verify it belongs to you!

Keep in mind that what is "good" to some people wont be "good" to others since taste is subjective.
I know Rorce for example likes a clear theme that fits together.
Me, personally I like chaos and randomness (if it fits a theme that is cool too) and new things I haven't seen before in anyone elses house.
I can't speak for the other judges on this, but one of the things going on in the past few years of housing is that other people are just "copying" general layouts that used to be unique, but now it feels like everyone is that way. Of course this raises the bar up to that new standard, but that standard then does not become unique, so what was "unique" is now just average.

Speaking to those who want pictures I suggest you make a level 1 toon on all the relevant servers and go see these places for yourselves. It's a great way to spend a little time and speaking for myself, pictures just raise questions. HOW did they do that??? One of my favorites. A little right clicking to identify and mysteries revealed may be. Also WHAT is that comes to mind a lot. Thanks to all the great developers out there. I plan to steal a bit here and there. Feel free to do the same.
P.S. : Claim your /veteran rewards on the level 1's and you can probably /claim a mount.
