Guess That Zone Contest
It's celebration time in Norrath! With the popularity of our previous similar contest, we decided to make another one in celebration of
EverQuest's 16th Anniversary!
This contest is a fun one, and it will test your knowledge of (or willingness to research) 44 locations across Norrath!
In this contest you will be presented with screen shots that the EQResource staff has gathered from all over Norrath. You will earn points by successfully guessing where the screen shot was taken! There are 2 tiers of difficulty, and each tier has 22 screen shots. Why 22, you may ask? Well, we decided to take 1 screen shot per expansion (+ 1 for base EQ) per expansion, per tier.
That means the Easy tier has 1 screen shot from each expansion and 1 from base EQ, and the Hard tier also has 1 screen shot from each expansion and 1 from base EQ. Use this information in your guessing strategy!The Easy tier screen shots are worth 1 point each, while the Hard tier screen shots are worth 2 points each!
This contest will run from
March 14th through
April 10th, 2015. All scores and answers will be hidden until the contest officially ends. On April 11th we will disable the ability to record guesses in the contest, and open up the Leaderboard as well as show you which zones you got right and wrong. Whoever is the highest on the Leaderboard wins the complete prize package! If there is a tie, we will assign numbers to each of the tied players and do a /random in game to determine the winner.

- You must have an EQResource forum account to participate in this contest
- Guess which zone screen shots were taken in to earn points
- There are 2 tiers of difficulty. The more difficult the tier, the more points each screen shot is worth!
- All scores are hidden until the end of the contest (April 10)
- After the contest has ended there will be a leaderboard showing score tallies. We will also post a full list of answers along with the in game /loc the screen shot was taken at.
- In the event of a tie, each top scorer will be assigned a number and we will perform /randoms in game to determine the winners
- If you have already guessed an image, the link for that image will turn green on the top of the contest page
- You cannot change your guesses! There is plenty of time to research your guesses before the contest ends, don't finalize an answer until you are 100% sure it's your final answer!

2nd place gets their choice of (1) of the items, after the 1st place winner has picked theirs!
